VOLUNTEER FOR STAMP OUT HUNGER

SATURDAY, MAY 11th

Stamp Out HungerOn May 11th, hundreds of letter carriers will hit the streets to collect over 500,000 pounds of non-perishable food.  All this food needs to find its way back to Food Lifeline to be sorted and distributed to local families in need.  If you are 16 or older, you can help by staffing a local postal station from 2 to 6 p.m. on May 11th.

As food arrives, we’ll need your help to unload each truck and collect the food into bins headed back to our warehouse.  Review the full volunteer job description HERE

A few details to keep in mind BEFORE you register:

  • Each volunteer should register by selecting a free "ticket" for the event – ticket/location options are below.

  • Each volunteer will be asked to provide their own unique contact details including - name, address, phone and email to register. Please do not proceed without this information.

  • The volunteer session is from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.  You must be available to volunteer for the ENTIRE session.

  • Please read the Volunteer Job Description BEFORE registering.

  • Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older.  For safety, no "tag-a-long" children allowed.

  • Registration is required! Please no "drop-in" volunteers on event day.
