There's an app for that!
This month, Food Lifeline is partnering with talktUp, a new mobile web application firm that allows local diners to help feed hungry people, make money by referring their favorite restaurants to friends, and even receive a discount on their own meals. Every time a talktUp user spends $20 or more at a participating restaurant, talktUp will donate the equivalent of one meal to Food Lifeline.
Getting started is fast, fun and easy. Simply sign up by creating a free, completely secure account at www.talktUp.com and register the card of your choice. Use the registered card when dining at participating restaurants, “talk them up” to your friends via the talktUp Mobile App, and begin earning cash rewards and donating meals without ever having to say a word. Don’t forget to track and share the number of meals you have contributed to Food Lifeline with friends and family.
